Commemo

Commemo is a startup company that produces unique scrap-book type books called Commemos.

They create collaborative book designs that everyone can contribute to in order to create a beautifully made book commemorating someone special in your life.

Ask

Create a simple, esthetically pleasing video explaining to what Commemo is for their website.

Approach

This was a wonderful challenge because I was not part of the demographic. My personal design style was not very well suited for what Commemo needed to be, so I had the opportunity to stretch myself to create this beautiful video better suited for women, ages 30-50 in the southwest.

I decided to storyboard out keyframes before starting to animate the video. I ended up creating a 3D commemo book in 3D space for the video, and it was so much fun!

Chaz is a delight to work with. He is positive, professional and extremely talented. He did a great job interpreting the project and keeping it all polished and on brand. We would definitely recommend him and hope to collaborate again in the future.
